Switchboard assembly

We assemble electrical switchboards, including labelling, inspection and testing, so that you receive a unit ready to install and to operate safely. Switchboard assembly is an area where discipline, connection quality and exact conformity to the design matter most: they determine the reliability of distribution, the correct operation of protection devices and how easy the board is to service. That's why we treat assembly as a full production process with internal quality control.

Work begins by agreeing the diagrams and the equipment list. When a board is built to a supplied single-line diagram or design, we confirm the parameters, layout and your requirements: incomers and outgoers, cable entries, device placement, service access, and redundancy and automation requirements. Where useful, we suggest layout improvements based on real installation practice and future operation — never changing the functionality of the solution without your approval.

During assembly we label conductors and components, route and secure wiring neatly, and follow connection standards and safety requirements. We make a point of building boards that are easy for the installation contractor to work with: clear designations, a logical structure, accessible terminals and legible labelling. That shortens installation time and reduces the chance of wiring errors on site.

Once assembled, the board is inspected: conformity to the diagrams, connection quality, correct devices fitted, secure mounting, plus functional testing to the agreed scope. Under the contract we hand over a full document package: diagrams, specifications, data sheets and test reports. Having proper reports and structured documentation makes acceptance, handover and future servicing far easier.

We build boards both for standard applications (distribution, lighting, ATS) and for specialised control and automation cabinets. Our goal is a unit that matches the design, is safe, cleanly built, and ready to operate without needing 'adjustments on site'.
