Where required, we develop power supply and distribution solutions grounded in both regulatory requirements and real operating conditions. Design is the stage that determines how reliable the whole system will be for years to come. Mistakes or gaps here usually have serious consequences: rework, additional purchases, schedule delays and a higher risk of failures. That's why we treat design as an engineering problem — the point isn't to draw a diagram, it's to calculate the system as a whole.
The design work covers load calculations and the overall power supply concept for the site: which consumer groups exist, which are critical, what operating modes are expected (peak, continuous, cyclical), whether a reliability category and redundancy are needed, and which redundancy options make the most sense. From there we produce single-line diagrams, select protection, switching and control devices, and define the structure of distribution boards and cabinets.
We pay particular attention to selecting cable runs and equipment, accounting for installation conditions, permissible current loads, voltage drop, inrush current behaviour and safety requirements. Where relevant, we discuss space constraints with you, along with preferences for board layout, service access, labelling and ease of operation. This keeps the design correct not only on paper but practical for the installers and the maintenance team.
Design can include ATS (automatic transfer switch) solutions, distribution across sections, energy metering, and integration of automation and monitoring elements. Depending on the task, we prepare a documentation package to the agreed scope: diagrams, specifications, equipment lists and explanatory notes on the key decisions.
Design makes sense both for new facilities and for upgrading existing systems where capacity needs to increase, reliability needs improving, or outdated components need replacing.
